City Council
The six Council Members are elected by Ward (two representing each of three wards) and serve four-year terms of office.
An election for Council Members is held every odd-numbered year, with one representative from each of the three Wards being
chosen each election. (For phone numbers, see “Government – City Council Roster”.)

Ward 1 Positions were elected in 11/2023 and officials took office 1-8-2024. The current terms which will expire the 2nd Monday of January, 2028, will be up for election in 11/2027.
Ward 2 Positions were elected 11/2025 and officials took office 1-12-2026. Ward 2 Positions, which will expire the 2nd Monday of 2030, will be up for election in 11/2029.
